Hubby and I had a terrific stay at Wild Oak Ranch in January of 2026. We had a one bedroom suite with a king bed, washer/dryer, huge bathroom, full kitchen, and living room. Oh, and a nice balcony too! Staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed the heated pool and even went through the lazy river on the warmest day - still chilly - but earned bragging rights by taking a couple loops around. We will be back again!

They seem to have had a lot of activities for kids but I didn't have any kids with me so I can't speak to those things. I know the center was closed when I was up there. The lazy river was closed down, that wasn't expected and was looking forward to it since it was on the website. The pool was fantastic, perfect temperature and clean. Several great waterslides. We did ask for a few items and had difficulty getting them. They did try 3 times to get us those items but there was a language barrier and it ended up incorrect those 3 times, by that point I didn't want to mess with it anymore and gave up. Afterwards I realized I should have just used Google translate but it was too late. Walking trails, plenty of parking, tennis, basketball etc. Lots of things to keep yourself or kids entertained. Location is not super close to major interests of the area but also not TOO far. The A.C in the room worked very well & the room was clean. We had a nice little balcony. Water pressure wasn't great in the shower. Great, fast coffee pot. They had lots of options for things that they would let you borrow & some they would supply for you if you forgot, that's a great perk. Lots of construction going on. We had trouble reaching cables on the TV to hook up our Roku. They could use better brackets that allow you some space between the TV & wall. Overall we had a nice stay.

We had a great vacation over Christmas break. The weather was great so we were able to use both the lazy river and pool. It was very relaxing and low key after the busy holiday rush, which was just what we were looking for coming from Chicago. Food was easily ordered poolside and delivered. We loved the city of San Antonio, exploring and sight seeing. We also did a day at Sea World which was very convenient staying here. I would recommend this family resort.

This is the cleanest resort I have ever stayed in. I went there with three teenagers and my husband and we had tons of room in the two bedroom villa. The back bedroom had two full size beds, a tv, a dresser and closet and was right next to the bathroom. When you came out of that room you were in a very very nice kitchen with everything you need to cook meals and a nice coffee pot. There was a dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave ,stove, oven farmhouse style sink and granite countertops. The one thing that came in really handy was the washer and dryer. The kitchen is open to the living room and these rooms have so many windows and are so bright and sunny. Our unit was an end unit on the third floor so I believe it had extra windows. Off of the living room was a nice little balcony and you could hear people teeing off on the golf course. From the living room you enter the master suite which was so nice!!! The bathroom in the master suite was huge with a shower, huge jetted tub and double sinks. The master suite and the living room have TV's as well. My son's girlfriend slept on the pull out couch in the living room and said it was very comfortable and am the linens were provided. The pool was totally incredible. So warm and clean. My boys loved the water slides and steam room. The outside hot tub was beautiful. You can get drinks at the bar which is great but they are pricy. I paid $21 for a small margarita. Along those lines is my only other negative comment. The first night we were there we ordered pizza from JJ's and had it delivered to our room. It was $48 for two pizzas that were very small, pretty burnt and were definitely just a frozen pizza. Other than that, this place is gorgeous and the good waaaaaaay outweighs the bad. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved it.

The resort is very beautiful and well setup for families and children. The lazy river was not open which is normal at Hill Country Hyatt as well. There were a few problems I encountered during the stay- 1. The ice maker in refrigerator was not working and no ice bucket to get it. I was required to have someone bring up a ice bucket. 2. The water pressure was great in everything but the shower. The shower was as bad as San Francisco Grand Hyatt which is restricted by law. 3. Hot water in kitchen sink never worked and shower had to waste more water than it save to get lukewarm. 4. Construction in building 6 made entry difficult and lots of hoses blocking rooms and lots of noise. 5. Pool card to get towels and if you loose it cost $20. The many good things were- 1. Variety of activities to participate in. 2. The pool system was amazing with multiple slides. 3. The large outdoor hottub was great. 4. The wild life trail was fun and great way to get exercise. 5. Even better was to exercise was excercise room with all the latest equipment and great view of pool complex. 6. The front desk and concierge were very helpful and friendly and the timeshare sales were not overly aggressive. 7. The kitchen was full size and pre-stocked with utensils. My only issue was only frying pan was not none stick and hard to clean. Overall was a great stay with some areas needing improvement.

It’s my first night here. This place exceeded my expectations. It’s very clean. I like how orderly and clean it is. I forgot to get cash to tip room service so I’ll go back out to get some. This place is a hidden gem. The lazy river was heated and nice water temps were great. Would have liked a little more heat in the hot tub. Overall…. A hidden gem. All employees at the pool were so kind and patient. I can’t believe how nice the Staff has been considering they are younger. I’m happy.

Booked through Chase Travel without prior expectations and was thoroughly impressed. I stayed here with my wife and three children, and the accommodations were ideal for a family. Our one-bedroom villa was well-equipped, featuring a full kitchen, dining area, living room, and a master suite with a full bath. Despite the cold weather during our visit, the heated indoor/outdoor pool remained fully usable and was a highlight for the kids. The location is quiet and relaxing, with plenty of activities on the property. While this is a timeshare property, I simply declined the sales pitch politely, and it was not an issue. Overall, a great experience for the whole family.

We stumbled upon this resort and we are so happy we did. The resort was so beautiful and the room was beyond our expectations. It was spotless at every turn. The entire property was beautiful. We were given an offer to become an owner. If given the opportunity to go through the information session, take it! Carlos was the kindest, most detailed representative. He was kind, professional, and an pleasure to meet. My husband and I loved talking to him. While we did not become members on this trip, we absolutely will in the near future. Every single staff member we talked to was amazing. We cannot wait for our next trip to this property and many other Hyatt properties. Carlos, Brian and the manager (who I can’t remember his name, but he was an Hispanic male and Carlos’ boss (so sorry)) were all delightful to meet and made becoming Hyatt Vacation Club members an immediate goal.
